So the guys at HD said that they werent sure if the pvc sheet would have compressed over time. Being in a jam and a rush i just went with 3/4 ply wood.

If anything positive come out of this it was seeing how many uneven spots were hidded by the carpet. I'll be shiming my ass off.

I should be shimming between the stand and the plywood right ?

Hello; Did you get marine grade ply or the pressure treated ply?

Hello; This sounds correct.
Pressure treated i think.

Hey man thanks for all the help. Seriously. Everyone thanks its much appreciated

Just saw this thread and sorry to hear. When these things happen it's understandable wanting to throw in the tower...but looks like you're on the road to recovery ;-).

There was mention on the first page of adding some rubber or wood tray underneath the sump and I think that would help for only spills and splashes here and there and not for your situation. I have exterior paint on medium density overlay plywood, with a waterproof liner and that still wouldn't help if water got underneath LOL.

Not cheaper than plywood, but I really like marine board. Non-organic, will withstand high loads and completely water resistent.

Take pictures when you're done.

No lie the 1st thing i thought aboutwhen this happened was you amd the water proof liner...but yeah in this situation it wouldnt habe helped.
Consider putting RedGuard on that plywood or on the cement.

Too late. I was able to dsco all of the plumbing utilizing the unions which were a life saver. Besides the E drains and ileft the bulk heads in. I didnt want to go messing with them again. To remove the sump i would have had to remove the tank. My buddy just slowly moved thw whole set up one side at a time while i slide the sump. Im going to try and get the tarp under the sump somehow
