Flooded/soaked carpet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like we are staying in the hobby. The kids werent letting us off the hook. I already rehomed some of the smaller fish amd am going to figure who stays and who goes from the big guys. Hopefully getting down to 1 tank and reducing its stock will help.

Need to shim the stand still

That’s good to hear. I’m glad you’re going to stick around. I was afraid of what I was going to do with my endli if it outgrows my 220, or doesn’t get along with my fire eels. Now I know I can still send it your way for a safe home. Lol.

You need to keep sp. Candy and your Faranah Endli or we can't be friends anymore.

Of course my daughter wanted to help move them back in the tank and of course she wanted to hold "her" tianna.

Not that i understand the in and outs of drips but are there any ways one could cause a flood ? Say the float switch fails

Hello; While I have never installed one I have heard of a system added to plumbing that shuts down the main water supply when water is sensed.
The way I recall the device ( a shut off valve) is plumbed onto a supply line. There is a sensor (or maybe sensors) placed in a target area(s). When the sensor gets wet it signals to the shutoff valve which closes and stops the water flow.
I guess it could be set up for only a supply line going to a tank but why not the whole house? I do not think it was invented for use around aquariums but should work.

I do not know the cost or other requirements.
