Florida Peacock Bass Fishing Circa 2006

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great day for Fishing today. Noontime is a poor choice to do it though. It was hot and exhausting even for somebody who's lived here for over 25 years.:(

Gave up after catching the following on my new Husky lure: Nice setting for the catch though and look at the dark dorsals on this fish, I'm keeping this one for my tank:)

I'll start a tank for keeping some unusual looking ones. This will be the first resident.:)

Next time around you may pick one from tank and ship your choice home.:D

Today I thought I'll pace myself and take a rest from fishing. I've reached two thirds of the way of my target for the year and Summer has barely started. Thought I'll rest from fishing but not from living. So I took a 4 mile hike around the Lake and caught some fishies on camera and pics of other residents in the lake. Here's some of the pics...

Looking great!!!! After seeing all those, that is just the push I need to buy myself a new camera for next year with a polarized lens to see through the water. :)

I tried using my polarized sunglasses for that, and I almost dropped the camera in the water:eek: I had to stay with the cloudy shots:(
