Tada. I know I know. Worst picture ever. I picked it up a few days ago, I'd say 2" TL, or 1.75ish body. Was super washed out when I got it, but it's already starting to show a bit of red in the body (tho it doesn't show up in the photos). Will be interesting to see if it's a fugly bugger or pretty as it grows. Super interactive already. :)

That's a big UV filter that runs when the lights are on, in the background.

Will add updates once a month.

you should name it bubbles

Not showing a whole lot of colour yet - when chasing feeders (now and then) dark verticle lines cover its body and the overall colour of the fish becomes darker. Reds and blues seem to be apparent then (you know, like an actual flowerhorn :P), but fade back to what we see in the pictures shortly after. I'm guestimating 2.75~3" TL

Also - checkout this snail sticking to the surface (other tank you see in the reflection);

Java fern, Java moss, and that mystery plant on the left by the UV filter. I might need to add a bit more light to kick up the growth rate, but, they're actually not doing too badly.
