Flowerhorn poops changes???

Free is always good. I kept all of my FH at 78-79ish, 80 F max. Most hobbyist want to crank temp up which encourages stimulation, heightens aggression, and in turn triggers gonads to increase kok size. What many don't realize is those same high temps also encourages deadly strains of bacteria to flourish, causing ailments such as columnaris aka duck lips.

One of my FH from years ago, that did just fine at lower temps. Same fish shown as above, that came to me from a transporter, very sick.

That’s what it looks like something then later on in the day will have a solid brown stool

Ok, see link above and start feeding epsom soaked pellets. That is how I saved fish shown above.

It also had a prolapsed rectum. Miracle that it survived, and went on to live a healthy life for several years.

Spironucleus vortens aka Hexamita is indeed contagious. I would feed to both, if they have both been exposed to the same tank water, nets, etc.

I am late to the party but RD. RD. and twentyleagues twentyleagues have got it covered. I would try to get a picture of the white poop. Often hexamita/spiro causes fish to shed a layer of the intestine which looks like "clear poop". But, most of what I know about this, I got from reading RD's posts. So I'd just do as he says and feed the Epsom :)
