It should. but for lighter results i'd go with the light gray tile. it's more preference on what you would want to see.

depends, My all white one Lindros looks extremely good with black substrate. What colors do you think you want?
Now i have a SRM flowerhorn but I want to get a kamfa as soon as there is one for sale in my area
so for the SRM i know the black is best but since i will silicone i might want to get the lighter tile

I doubt the tile color will affect that guy's coloration too much. Will probably still be red.
I agree, The color is in the middle between bright and dark atm, at least it looks like. Personally I feel like the light gray will look a bit better, but it's not up to me! Good luck!
Just bought an oase biomaster 850 thermo canister filter for the tank. It's rated for 220 gallons and the tank is 52 gallons so it should be enough filtration.
