Does it really work? Almost everyone I asked says it does nothing to rays. Even Nic says its a waste of money if you are planning it for rays.

Worked for me. I had a ray that was wasting away. Had the ray for over a year and it even worked it's way up to being the dominant male in the tank. After a while the other rays outgrew him and began returning the bullying. He quit eating alltogether and the hipbones began showing. I seperated him and after a week of finicky eating you could see the forehead divit. All I did was Prazi and began using the garlic Xtreme stuff. It began eating more and more with the garlic. Maybe it was the garlic, maybe it was the prazi. All I know is it is getting better.

I just thought that since the Armatus and the CB Marble began taking garlic soaked shrimp, when it was quickly refused prior to the garlic, that the stuff worked.

I tend to ignore what the masses say and learn through my own experience. There's a lot of useless info out there that I hear regurgitated on a regular basis by people with no experience all the time around here. I've lost rays by listening to advice, and I've saved rays without making any threads. I tend to trust what happens with my first hand experience. This statement has nothing to do with Nic. I don't doubt him at all. I've learned a lot from him. He's very knowledgable and if he says it didn't work then maybe it didn't. Not saying he's wrong. Just saying it worked in my case, and like I said it affected a ray that was not sick and a group of Armatus.

Hope that helps.....

I guess thats another experiment for me to try out during this christmas break.

I just took about half of the sand out.. and tested the water again.

Top one being nitrate. Light pink is not bad about 30PPM. 2nd one is nitrite, 3rd one GH, 4th one ammonia, 5th on alk, 6th one pH.

Her feces looks normal?

I hope removing it helps.. Been stressing cause she hasn't had a good meal in weeks. :nilly::nilly:

The feces look a little odd but otherwise everything else looks good.

substrate looks rays safe, just too deep.... but if you remove it do a little at a time.

I removed a good amount of it.. Now its just enough to cover the bottom.

Looks normal to me.. anyone else think it looks abnormal?

Now its time to wait and see what happens.

Feces looks bad. The colour is right somewhat but feces should be solid and looks like a shriveled up worm. When you get runny feces or feces that breaks up into tiny particles, then you might have parasites.

thats not something i want to hear.. :(

Anyone else think her feces looks abnormal? Before I go and treat her for something she may not have..
