I've been in the market for an fx5 for some time now, I currently am running an ehiem, and I've had a major problem with it. Everytime the power goes off, or I have to clean the filters, the damn thing overflows from the back pressure on the intake hose, lost 3 gallons of water on the floor the other night when the power went out. Damn pro2.
Then when I have to turn it back on, I have to simultaneously clamp the tubes and plug the darn thing in so there's no back pressure on the filter.
When it's running, it's fine, as soon as power stops, overflows and floods. It's friggin retarded.
