why not make a spray bar that runs your entire length of the tank ? I have a spray bar that like 62" in a 6ft tank and I have NO food or poop anywere in my tank and it barebottom ...

Now this is good advice!

here this is the spray bar in the tank and running, and shows you how clean it looks... the lil bit of dirt looking in the back left corner that is left over sand from when I took my sand out couple weeks ago...

99% of the time is placement. Some of the best filtered tanks are done on low movement and flow.

I have a 135 with approx 600- 800 gph running through from my sump. 3 1" returns in different places along the back top of the tank. Overflows are both on 1 side of the tank. I have 1 powerhead running I do not vacuume the tank anymore. I do my water change through the sump.

I do know Im getting rid of the sump & going with the Laguna 3200 Kit. Ill have to monkey with ideas once I get all my supplies. Debating where to place the pump in the tank and the returns. I have a lot of established media I want to incorporate so I wanted to run the return from the canister to a tote or something behind the tank. Let it over flow back in the main tank. I would make a spray bar but I need room for the bio I have and hopefully my heaters. I wont be able to make a spray bar with a gravity fed return ya know. I do have a pair of 900 gph powerheads I can mess around with once my setups complete.
