Hello. I just spoke to HAGEN USA customer service. The woman said the FX6 will be on their website soon.
She also said HAGEN dealers are now able to order the FX6, the product code is A-219.
She had no other info on this product.

I see they made the Bio foam for the FX6 just like they did when the other 06 series filters came out.The Bio foam should work in the FX5.

Hagen also has a description and a PDF of the manual on their website. The FX6 still has the same GPH output but uses 7 watts less power. There are some other differences and some of the part numbers are different so I doubt if the main parts of the filter are interchangeable between the two models.
Cheapest I have seen so far ebay had one for 339.99.I have yet to see the fx5 marked down any further,probably wont if the price point of the fx6 is around 300-330.
Just a update, my filters have been fantastic. As far as bubbles I haven't ever seen any bubbles and the filters are very quiet.
