I'd go with an acryllic tube from the outside door to the stairs that way you have a flow through viewing area for potential customers...LOL

Nice....now your talking....
To quote yourself. :D:D

O.K., back to the project.
I've pretty much decided on the L shape and 4 feet front to back.
Now, how to build it in a room that's only a foot larger.

Carefully ;)
:):) No doubt.
It might not be possible. Been measuring again this morning and drawing lines on the floor.
There won't be enough room to move it in any direction to work on the back during the build.
The back panels would be ten feet long, the room is only 11 feet square.
Might have to regroup and maybe even go smaller just to be able to build the thing.
Or, just build 2 4x6 tanks placed on opposing walls.

I will say one thing though, the original thought for the L is HUGE seeing it drawn on the floor.

This monster tank is developing monster issues.

it's always bigger than you picture in your mind LOL ... if your serious about getting it done... then just make it 9 feet...or 9 1/2 feet so you can squeeze by the side to get behind it for building ... have someone help you to move it in place once your done... actually have a few people help you move it .. including your step son...so he knows just how much of a pain in the ass he'd be for moving back in :ROFL:

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Guess I'll measure it out for three feet front to back and see what that looks like.
