You are exactly right. Can't get too hung up on the gallons, got to make it practical.
I'm liking the cutoff legs version a little more.
Garf figures the volume at the same amount for either 6 foot panes with 10 foot backs and 3 feet front to back, or 4 foot panes with 8 foot backs and 4 feet front to back.
A little less viewing area on the 4 foot option, but room to get behind it, and more common for equip.
I think I could actually leave it in the "center" of the room, have walk space (not much) behind it, and have viewing space in front.
