can a poly spit out a pebble that it swallowed? i found a peeble this morning in my barebottom tank, its been days also im worried with my little ornate i bought last week, been suspecting it swallowed a pebble from the lfs, he got some bulgy in its tummy for days, and the pebble i got from the tank is same as in the lfs whre i bought the fella, its much bigger to be poofed out.

Yeah my Sen. will eat floating pellets if that's all I put in the tank. He'll look for the "usual" then safe screw you and eat the pellets floating. I can always count how many he eats too with 3 rounds bulges being the norm.

It has been a few weeks since I started this thread and I am still finding more gravel

time for an update,,,today i found another piece of green gravel, I now think I know why my ornate has a funny look to the back half of his body

as you can see he has an long looking dent that runs the length of the back of his body,,this is not from under feeding. The only thing I can see that would cause this would be the gravel any helpful input would be nice
