for the ones still using gravel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sand isn´t the best substrate. It can develop an anoxic zones. Beside that fish die very rarely from eating gravel. Many do it on purpose to use it as ballast.

nice,:headbang2you poly eats at the surface? i thought that polys alway eat at the bottom sice there're "bottom feeders.";)

My senegal bicher would come to the surface to eat out of my hand. He also would skim the surface for any floating food, and would snatch feeder guppies from the top and mid of the tank.

Second only to my sturgeon, he was the most active fish in the tank.

My endi bicher is always getting a mouthful of gravel and spitting it back out.
I am concerned about him swallowing it, but cannot switch to sand at this time. As long as i feed him market shrimp or chopped fish chunks he doesn't mess with the gravel.

I would debate with you as to how you are 100% wrong but you are not worth my time
