Just remember that those fish in the pictures are juveniles and nowhere near full grown. What happened to the catfish dovii? They are better than gars in my opinion. It would be in the silvers best interest to not be housed with em.
sometimes the combo works..other times it might not. just like me keeping 2 silver aros has worked and for others it dosent. good luck with your combo

Oh come on you should know two or three weeks experience means it is all good... I kept some Fathead minnows with a gar for a few weeks and it worked great too. No gar aggression at all.. Not sure why they all disappeared though as they where getting along so well. must be the filter.
