Found in the Farm Pond down the road...

Awesome! And awesome farmer! What kind of bamboo were there?
 
The surrounding growth is so thick that the only way to tell that there's water in the area is by the stands of cypress trees. Even then, you can barely see the pond, from the levee, due to all the growth.

Here are a couple of other residents of the pond. A Monster bullfrog (there are thousands of tadpoles in the shallows) and an anole chameleon. The pond is stocked with crappie, sunfish, bass, mosquitofish, flathead catfish, white amur, and who knows what else.

I don't know bamboo. But, I checked on google and found that there are bamboo plantations in MS. There are at least 53 known species of bamboo in MS and others around the southern states.

wow is that really bamboo ..is that native to miss? That is so awesome..who would ever think Miss. had a pond and forest like that?? I never knew.. it is a real jungle.. great pics..:D
