my lfs had a nice dovii that was around 14-16 inches they sold him for 80 bucks

In my experiences jags arnt all Wat people make them out to be. But they are awesome predators

Oh there's no doubt about that. I'd wouldn't put them in the same category as say a dovii, black nasty, or beani aggression wise. Seem to lure you into a false sense of security though then flip and kill everything you worked hard to keep with it.

My male jag that i got first week Nov grew from about 4 1/2 inches to about 8 inches now...
Female growing slow...going from about 2 inches the beginning of Aug to about 5 inches now...
