Also My bals are 4 inchs? no where near needing bigger tank. i had six bala's for about 2 weeks when two bad batches of bio spira killed 5 of them. Admittiedly this wouldn't have happend had I just cycled the tank, but I took a chance, and learned my lesson the hard way. lost all but 2 of my orginal fish.
Over stocked DUDE you on MFK if you think over stocking is bad maybe you should go play in the kiddy tank. My levels are always AM 0 Nitrite 0 nitrate 15 - 20, overstocked yes but lots of water changes, plus good filtration.
As far as grow out tank, yes this is a grow out tank, and had you known anthing about me and my situation. You would have seen that I was supposed to have a 240 withing 4 to 5 months. When that feel through I asked people who actully have kept bala sharks how long I had, as I was going to give them away.

Its clear you know nothing more then what you read about these fish, they grow slow in the 6 months I have had the sharks they have grown a whole 2 inchs. hypocritical would have been If I myself did the same thing I looked down on. Which was keeping the fish in the tank for life. I have made more post conserning the living needs and time span for these need, then I can count.
Before you go calling names and talking about things you have no understanding of, maybe one should check my other post? I love MFK and while I know very little I learn a lot here. Its a shame people have to go sling mud at each other like this? we are not mccain and obama there is no need to bring each other down.
