among all ur fish, i love that endli, whoa that is one beautiful specimen you got there.
gars when suffer with broken backs, but not very extensively and recover, and as they age the deformed spine becomes more and more prominent
i have one such specimen, i got mine with a broken for free @ 3-4", now it is 14-15" and has a upward pointing snout
