Wow awesome diagram. Does it matter where I put the T? By that I mean does height matter? I know water cant be compressed so it'll flow wherever it can, just all this pvc stuff is so confusing to me. Idk why.

this, again, is how i would do it, not saying its the best but just my vision

Ok yeah thats what I was wondering. So it can be the height of the rim of the tank. Not sure how I'm going to get behind my tank to do this

if you make it as a seperate piece, and just use the tank to mock it up you should be able to just drop it over the back without having to really get behind the tank. if you hook up the hose to the PVC Tee fitting you should only have to get under your stand to connect it to the filter. if you need a more detailed discription just let me know. im thinking of doing this on my 75g and im in the same position, can really get behind my tank, but it shouldn't be hard at all

I kind of get it. Are you guys going with the idea that the elbows on the returns will hold the pvc in place? If not, I'm not sure how to attach it, or hold it up. Let's work on this together.

the elbows will hold some of the weight but i would be worried about the middle around the tee fitting... your going to have the weight of the water thats in the PVC as well at the hose pullung down on it... i would atleast put some kind of clamp or hanger to support the tee, that should be fine unless your strecthing the pvc of a good lenght, then i'd add more support down the piping a bit

How do I add supports between the T and the elbows? What should I use?
