Game Fish

I think you might be a little paranoid..... so you want to buy a fish you can grow and eat... and you don't want to "order" one because you don't know where it's been.... then you don't want to take care of the thing? What says whoever is taking care of it doesn't do something.... "crazy" with it... like... oh i dunno... dunking it in a swimming pool and throwing back in the tank or something? MUAHAHA!!!
 
i know you said your husband doesn't like cat fish but i read on some website that the red tailed catfish tastes like pork

According to the florida fish and game department the oscars are edible. So I'm not gonna go to the darn supermarket. I LIVE IN FLINT!!!!!! HELLO!!!! Didn't you read the thread about the three eyed fish.

The fish in the supermarket aren't from your river, I assure you. Chances are they are captive raised or caught from the ocean. You really are paranoid.

Go ahead and get an oscar, have fun raising it for over two years waiting for it to grow. My oscar is over two years old and at 10" far to small to bother eating.

By the way....you keep saying you live in flint, you do realize that some of us have no idea what you are talking about right? You yell... "I can't eat the fish, I live in Flint, gosh...don't you people know that"...hello, we all don't live in Flint nor do we know the quality of it's water.
 
I already have two oscars in my house and i don't want to eat a on oscar from what i hear there dirty tasting. They are truly a man's fish. They fart, burp, and can live in what you would call not so clean water conditions.
