Gar SEIZURE Video!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm no expert. but it doesn't look good maybe neurological. Some snakes like Ball Pythons are born wobbler's due to over breeding and this might be the same case here. They act fine even eat okay until the very day they die. Might be the same case here and maybe the farm didn't catch it. My friend breeds python's and he's fairly careful, but a occasional wobbler get's thru and it's heart-breaking. Can't tell you how many times he thought one would make it, but didn't. Almost anything involving the nervous system is a death sentence and though I'm no expert it does look like it's nerve or brain based twitching other than from shock usually is.

Yeah thats the video. Any ideas on how to put the video up so you can see it on here?

this kinda reminded me of the Emily Rose movie i've seen back in high school.

bro sion, is your gar okay now? have you got some help or info about the seizures?

Thanks NocturnalX,
yes, he is fine now :headbang2
Bro, how is your Gator Gar going?

So basically, no one knows what this problem is?

Reminds me of fainting goats... neurological.. either genetically, or environmentally ( ie trauma) If it was toxin related you'de see other issues with the rest of the tank imo. Thats gotta do heck on it's system from a stress standpoint. surprized it's not dead tbh.
