Just an update on the community. TFB growth rate is amazing.

I am thinking I will grow them out for a couple more months and then rehome them.
Tinfoils gone. In the short time I had them they grew to about 13cm (largest one). Heavy feeding regime of mix of pellets and fresh shrimp. These guys are truly monster fish.
You might be sorry to see your tinfoils go, but I bet your geos aren't! Party time in your tank now for them, lol.
I think you did the right thing. Your tank would have looked proper mad in 18 months or so. Are you planning on putting something else with your geos?

Replace with a school of Congo Tetras

Haha no I did not! Although I can see how the picture looks like it. They are alive and well stillDid you off them!
I must say it does look much better. I have two geos that have started cleaning rocks and defending each end of the tank. So I hope I will have two breeding pairs soon. I have had one batch of fry from these geos in the past, More than a year ago now. So hopefully they will start again.
I got a great deal on an Asian Arowana this weekend. 100USD for him. So I will be keeping just the Geos and Asian Arowana for now. I will be posting a separate thread in the Arowana forum about him.
