Getting busted for illegal fish ??

who is the enforcing body i just read a post in the aro board and they said that the dept of ag and fish and game would govern illgal fish sales and ownership and i could not find anything when i did a search i was wondering if someone knew where a list of punishments and possibly ppl are who have broken these law

i am curius as too what the penalties are someone said that u can even get banned fromowning a tank for years and i wanted to see if this was tru



P.S. NO i am not going to attemt the import of something i can't have i jsut like to know things
 
Not too long ago there was a thread posted on here about someone who got a healthy fine and jail time for Asian Aros...........
 
Jail time, fine, AND they kill your aros :(
 
i looked and U.S. fish and wildlife and all they had was what u needed to get a permit and they said educational, sceintific, and propagation of the species but propagation is not considered as pet keeping as what most of us would want to do but it is still possible to get permit for illegal fish

now i want to know if they really kill your fish thats STUPID if its endangered and i have it and they find it does it make sence to then take it from someone that is taking care of it and just toss it out and kill it

that must be one of those do as i say not as i do things
