about a month ago a set of cops came into my shop to look for illeagal fish and reptiles. they both hung out talked fish for awhile then admitted they had no idea what they were supposed to look for but they were following their protocal they didnt even know what the hell i was doing when i showed them my snake and turtle permits

Forgive me for stating the obvious:
If you are passionate about keeping any species of bird, fish, herp, mammal....consult:
1) Your state Fish and Wildlife Department
2) C.I.T.I.E.S (Internationally Protected PSecies)
3) YOUR CITY/TOWNSHIP ORDINANCES. These are just as important.
What may be legal in the state, is not legal in your county, township or city.

Please, what-ever we decide to keep as a Monster Pet, never, ever release it back into the "wild". Euthanize, sell or trade it.
Respectfully, FireMedic

There was that story about the guy who sold a bunch of Piranhas to people in Florida. He got fined a bunch of money, I think.

If I was the government, and I caught some guy with a bunch of illegal fish worth thousands each, I would take them and sell them to people in other countries. (kind of like how the police get tons of money from seizing cash that drug dealers get from dealing drugs)

Jail time, fine, AND they kill your aros :(

Isn't the reason Asian aros are banned that they're CITES fish and endangered? So if you catch somebody with one, kill it...that makes a lot of sense
