thats stand isnt "ghetto", just homemade
my 90 stand i built had about 1/3 of that amount of wood, and took just over 40 minutes ;)

Yeah that stand actually looks pretty nice (if heavily, heavily overbuilt). To qualify as ghetto something has to be clearly done with a minimum of monetary and time expenditure. If it looks nice and neat and smooth and properly polished, it just aint ghetto.

Ghetto is the spraybomb paint job on my car, the milk jug overflows, the pop bottle CO2 reactors, the rubbermaid and kiddie pool holding tanks, using some milk crates as structural components, etc.

I need to post up some pics of my ghetto plywood tank repair... I had a bulkhead that was leaking, so I covered it with plumbers putty and an electrical box lid ;)

Actually, IMO the crowning glory of the ghetto fab stuff has to be the litter containers. I need to go get pictures of the electrical christmas tree of plug adapters in the garage and the cut up rubbermaid overflow. Eventually, its gonna kick @$$, but for now... lets just hope for no blown fuses, fires, or abused rubbermaid failures.

Bring on the Ghetto builds.

not really too ghetto but here's my quick fix to my python not fitting my sink.

I run the vinyl tube under hot water so it slips over the faucet then I screw on another clamp and run so cold water to shrink it back up.
