This is my ghetto chiller i made when i discovered my tank was heating up.
All you need is two things I'm sure everyone already has.



got the temperature were i wanted

Dropping the thermostat is not bad, but I've seen worse! I saw someone slam a hole in the side of a fridge, coil up some tubing and run the return from the pump through the fridge!

Our fourwheeler sled, made of an old slide.

We tried to make another one out of an old rubbermaid tub.

I'll have those pics up in a bid.

So we had an old tub that we were going to make into a sump.
But it didn't hold water, sooo....

THE BUILD

:Materials.

:Our base reinforcement for the sled, yes those are screws sticking through the seat. Thats what the cushions for.

:The Cushion, previously used on the passenger seat earlier on the thread.

:It fits!

SAFETY FIRST

:The parachute, just in case it gets going too fast.

ALWAYS wear a good quality helmet properly strapped and all that junk.

THE TEST RUN

Future project?
If at first you don't succeed, use a snowboard next time:

my whole betta breeding set up is ghetto its tuperware walmart 6 dollar lights ceran wrap and pickle jars. My cherry shrimp setup is a recycle bin with a broken lamp for heat and light. Also my aro grow out has walamart light and taped down ceran wrap for a cover. Even the air stone is ghetto it was a larger broken air stone cut into third then hot glued at one end to keep it from leaking.
