Thanks, maybe not then :L, thats my idea though, although angels are nice, as someone mentioned, but im trying to aim for a big tank, with big gravel, with minimum plants and items, just to let it tick over and not have to worry to much, where me having a 15 gallon with guppy's, neon tetras and corys fully planted, just needs so much attention!
Im not saying i won't give the fish attention, but if i have a bigger fish, with less maintenance, i can still have a fish, and concentrate on my Gcse's at the same time, oh and of course feed the fish random stuff like tomatoes :L aha
Still looking around tbh, waiting to find that perfect fish, or trying to persuade my brother to let me have his room and we swap, cause he has an empty wall of 8ft!! aha
Thanks
Mike

Are you looking for peaceful or aggressive fish? If you're looking for aggressive maybe you can check out yellow labs. They are actually pretty small. About 4" if I'm right. You could do some research on those. The scientific name is Labidochromis Caeruleus to be specific. Extremely bright, colorful, and active fish.

if you want a Oscar you could have one one in a 75 gallon aquarium. if you want an Oscar and a common pleco you would need a 90 gallon aquarium(they do make a 4ft 90 gallon aquarium) Oscars look a little like "mini" giant gouramis. Oscars usually reach a foot long.

This has to be a troll.

You can't keep any LARGE fish in a 4ft tank unless it's something like 4'x 4'. If you want to keep a pleco WITH something else I wouldn't feel comfortable going larger than about 12" max. If the fish gets larger than about 12" don't bother trying to keep it in a 4' tank. Use google, it's your friend.
Leave the guy alone. he seems to listen well. he asked for any other ides for his aquarium that does not too big. trolling is when you derail a thread. Not when you ask a question (FYI forums are meant for asking questions and getting advice). so please leave him alone.

Oscars are not that aggressive. they are a lot less aggressive than some of the other cichlids in their size range. They also have a friendly personality.

I would stay away from fish that can reach 18 inches unless you have a 5 foot long or more 90-120 gallon aquarium.

Im kinda looking for a peaceful one, that just kinda moves slowly, i can hand feed and touch ( i know you shouldnt, but everyone wants to :L) But i'll look into your suggestion :)
Thanks

thanks all, i like the sound of an oscar, i saw a orange/yellow one with black eyes, what is the type called? there really nice, or the tiger oscar :)
Thanks
