After 8 days the RTGG passed. I am not sure it was necessarily from the shock of the attack or the formalin-Malachite Green treatment that was conducted on all tanks in the meanwhile also could have been the last straw.

I had treated with MicrobeLift Broad Spectrum Disease Treatment BSDT based on formalin and Malachite Green, 2/3 of full dose per label. Soon the deformed elephant ear male, 5 yo 1.5ft, died for no good reason but likely as a consequence of the treatment.

This is strongly reminiscent of how Tatooshka and an RTGG died about 5 years ago.

I think there is a trend. Even though the vast majority of GGs remain superficially unaffected by the treatment, some that are weaker or compromised seem to die from the treatment.
