Tequila Shovels & Medium size car parts! Aside from those items I don't know of much else I haven't heard of them not eating. Mine are eating Wheat Bread and now my Red Parrots starting eating lettace.

On Christmas eve I spent $26 on 2 Premium fish food for my Monsters and $20 on myself for dinner, I really need to cook these fish.

Try feeding koi pellets or some other pond pellet, we've had George on them for about a month now with greens as well.

You'll get about 8x as many for your money. On top of that George chomps through a lettuce a week at the moment, 40p each or around 80 cents.
80 cents x 2 'cause yours around around 16' x the 4 you have = $6.40

Hang on thats $6.40 in lettuce alone per week.... I'm beginning to see your point.

Seriously though I'm sure we all here can come up with a cheaper way of feeding them, it'd be a shame to cook them after all the time, effort and food costs you've spent.

I gave my big RTGG a lettue leaf (romain as they have the most nutrients) and he ate it all in about 2mins. I always have about 5 full lettueaes in me at all times as my 4 big tortiose and Bearded Dragon eat them.

Anyone else get splashed by their GG for attention??? Mine eats loads of leftoevrs from the table and loves them, especially the veggies.

The guy at the nearby LFS feeds his 2 huge GGs with koi pellets - veggies every once in a while but koi pellets daily. He uses the big pellets.

I can all too easily testify that his fish are big and healthy. Maybe you should try that. :)

Welcome to MFK.

Ours although it will eat from the hand prefers to back off an inch, wait for the food and lid to be closed until it devours everything.
Matt's got one that enjoys a good splash.

Size info? Tank setup? Any pics? all welcome
