On Christmas eve I spent $26 on 2 Premium fish food for my Monsters and $20 on myself for dinner, I really need to cook these fish.![]()
I gave my big RTGG a lettue leaf (romain as they have the most nutrients) and he ate it all in about 2mins. I always have about 5 full lettueaes in me at all times as my 4 big tortiose and Bearded Dragon eat them.Yanbbrox;1374711; said:Try feeding koi pellets or some other pond pellet, we've had George on them for about a month now with greens as well.
You'll get about 8x as many for your money. On top of that George chomps through a lettuce a week at the moment, 40p each or around 80 cents.
80 cents x 2 'cause yours around around 16' x the 4 you have = $6.40
Hang on thats $6.40 in lettuce alone per week.... I'm beginning to see your point.
Seriously though I'm sure we all here can come up with a cheaper way of feeding them, it'd be a shame to cook them after all the time, effort and food costs you've spent.
