how big do these guys get?

10' in the wild. I have 2@13" in a 300g. I've had them for 2yrs. They were in a 55. I think they are stunted. I can't believe that one got to 20".

ya he is in perfect shape as well with just a small bump on his nose.

i rescued a 24 inch silver in a sump filter at a lfs as well.

i may adopt a paroon shark next from a friend

The bump should go away. when they get spooked they are very fast. I was afraid mine would kill themselfs after I put them in the big tank. They calmed down if anything.

When he first went in the tank he was flying around the 450 like a mad man,freaked out all the others but then settled in after a few hours.

i broke two nets trying to put him from the cooler to the tank.He is heavy.

Mine got thier spikes stuck. That was fun getting them out! Next time I will use something different.

I believe so. The biggest I've seen/read on MFK was 24".
