No, it's just most the guys I know that are jelous are jelous because they know what they think/do themselves.. I guess you are perfectly fine with you having female friends? but hey, whatever flies with you.. If you find some tool to just adapt to that its freakin' great, you have your whip and you take back some of the power since most of the whipping seems to be done by women imo

if you read my previous posts carefully, i said my wife feels the same way.

i don't have female friends. only aquaintences at work or whatever but not outside of that

i wouldnt' be against it, then turn around and have a best female friend in case people wanna jump the gun and assume that

You have my respect for that, sorry for jumping to conclusions and I must just as you said not have read your posts carefully enough! I apologize for that and I'm glad to see you have a relationship where both feels the same.

I would never accept not being able to see my female friends since they have the same value as my male friends..

when i was single, i was up front about it, it's not like I dated and out of the blue became a raging jealous monster.

i told girls how i was, and if they didn't agree, it was cool

Wow. Have some integrity. You should never break up with someone so that you can be with someone else. Keep your girlfriend and be faithful or break up with her because its not working out - not because you wan tto bone some other gal. I guess I often forget about the age/maturity differences here on MFK until I see someone post something like this. Most of us here are nearly complete strangers to one another - why would you want our advice on personal matters?
Bottom line is be a man and treat your girlfriend with respect and dignity and even if it doesnt work out you will have your reputation and integrity intact. Im guessing youre pretty young, so chances are good that in ten years you may not have anything to do with these girls and your friends. You will however be stuck with the person youve allowed yourself to become.

just because someone has different views from you don't automatically make it/them stupid. it may sound stupid to you, but if you're ok with your lady running of to the best friend everytime you guys have a fight, more power to you.

that and my wife hanging out (lunch, dinner, movies, phone calls) with a dude just won't fly with me

it's not a trust issue, i just don't see how having a male best friend will do any good except cause problems
