Girlfriend wants a fish in my tank... any recommendations?

Pet world in wichita is the best one. Scales and tails in derby is pretty good too. My only gripe with pet world is that htey will do anything to make a sale. They will tell you any lie in the world if it will get you to buy a fish/product.

I stopped going to Petworld because of the same reason. There is a new store at 21st and Oliver. They started out with saltwater fish only, but now they're bringing in freshwater fish. One of the girls who worked at Sea Dreams is working there. She going to bring in oddballs.
oh sweet. I kinda had a love/hate thing for seadreams. I loved how i saw fish there that i'd never thought i'd see in my whole life. I hated how their fish and supplies were 3 to 4 times the price of anywhere else. I'll have to check out that new store.
The main reason I go to pet world is because i can find fish their that i can't find anywhere else, and their prices are really good. I just hate how they will lie so horribly to make sale. on a funnier argument, they tried to get me to buy a redtail catfish. i told them it would outgrow my tank. he said they grow very slowly.... this was about 20 minutes after the same guy told me that the big redtail catfish they had (easily 2.5 foot long) was only a little over a year old.

I think it's very rare that any couple can share each others hobby, especially if you are passionate about your hobby. Get her a fish!
If she's using the ex-fiancee why don't she use him to buy a new tank and then she can have the fish she wants and you just help her set it up.
