I have. I've sarched thru cichlid compaion room and google pics, asked this question on multiple other forums and still I can't find it.
 
It was a hybrid or a flowerhorn then.

It deffo wasn't a flowerhorn or hybrid. I think the name started with B if that helps, the common name (which there is tons)
 
My guess is a black belt, but assuming you looked at the vieja maculicauda on the cichlid forum link above, I guess that wasn't it.

"High Backness" and the hump are very variable. Most pictures on a database will be of the fish at it's prime, so maybe consider that the fish were just skinny and no hump because they have been moving around from tank to tank. Also, how could you possibly know it wasn't a hybrid. It sounds like a mutt or a very very low grade flowerhorn.
 
did it have a big giant mouth?

maybe a bay snook?
