I'm gonna say Petenia splendida green form. Called bay snook.

did it have a big giant mouth?

maybe a bay snook?

I own two. It sure as hell wasn't a Baysnook. It had a normal mouth like that of a dovii. Small but solid. The closest so far is the Synspilla, but this fish didn't have any of the elaborate colours on its rump, only a very firey red.

i would say chocolates hypolescara temporalis but they are high backed.
