Ohhh thats what that is. A single wide brace in the middle alloweds for easy cleaning and placing of large objects. Wouldn't need more than 2 anyway.
 
ya thats y i hope someone reads this thread who has built a tank before and tell me if i can brace it in the middle with 1 wide single peice or 2 smaller ones on each side id like to do 1 larger like 1 5" in the middle
 
two smaller braces are setter then one single in the middle its spreads the load along a larger area, but then again 3 is beter then two..., bit the more you put the harder it is to add lights, well for some people, its going to have a glass lig anyway right?, also turtls dont need much light anyway, not like they bask right?

EDIT: by"two smaller braces" i mean each about 2-3" wide...
 
turtles bask yes lol they need 2 lights a uvb and a uva they bask alot the lights go on for 12 hours a day but im planing on a builidng an out of the water baskign area
 
also another silicone question is do i put a bead on the bottom peices edges and the vertical edge then press or do i just put a bead on the bottom and not the vertical too

is that how i would silicone it? with a bead of silicone on ALL edges that are going to come into cantact wich eachother
