umm, not to be a sikler but the two end ones where seposto be touching the two sides, not that its going to make too much of a differance.

i know but i wanted to leave a gap for cords so we re measured the braces it still geaves me about 16 1/4 gaps so we put them 1" away from the end peices

it would make a gorgeous terrarium but 1500 lbs of water behind 1/4" glass scares the ____ out of me.

BTW. it cost you $210 to build? its a 150? I got a 125 on CL for $150 with 1/2" glass. I see 150g's all the time for under $200. If youre going through all that trouble to build one, go BIG.

im shure youve heard this a million times already but DAMN thats some thin ass glass! my 100 long is 6' long and only 18" tall and it has 1/2" glass. hope it works out for you though, just dont put any easily spooked fish in it.

it for turtles., i have a factory made 18" tall tank made from 1/4", i have seen one other tank this big made from 1/4" glass...
