Odo or Midas.I also like your GT & RT idea but it may or may not work.

i'd say zalio, too, but as you said...not available for you. I'm actually thinking about getting one.

Wait, are you trying to be serious?
ya, idk where he came up with that one. sorry, jakob, but that's not exactly true. And puffers CAN be much more of characters than cichlids (sorry the wording is screwed up).

I hope to have a 1 fish 125 someday, but it's going to have a trigger in it

puffers weaponry + Cichlids aggression = Trigger.. rofl.. nothing nastier then some Clown Triggers I've met.

Any of the above mentioned fish fit the bill.. it'll just be a matter of finding one w/ a real attitude.

If you are coming to England at some point there is a really nasty Red Devil on its own in a LFS near me. It bangs the glass and flares up every time you go near it!

My premiere glassbangers aren't cichlide - Hoplias Malabaricus and Pygocentrus Nattereri. My Mala is absolutlely insane. I've certainly seem my share of glassbangin' Oscars and GT's but the most impressive and constant I've ever owned or seen was The Red Devil male.

I'm all for the FH idea. Maybe a nice Red Dragon or King Kamfa.

I dont know about the wolf, but nattereri's are no glassbangers, fun to keep in a group in a tank big enaugh.

I will get an odo if i go for the 1 fish setup, i got offered some 12" P.B. Laps on great price.

FH's creep me out, not the look, just hybrids overall are "sick" in the way that mixing two different species together is not something that is supposed to do. And i really pity the people who are trying to make new kinds of hybrids by mixing more and more species together, good example is the FH blood parrot, deformed disgusting fish.
Im sure someone is with me on this one!

IMO Black Nastys' a great choice - Don't think in absolutes - my 7 year old Red Belly is a glass banger - he absolutely hates people. It's been well documented on this site.................he didn't get that callus on his chin from hangin' in a shoal. Here he is tryin' to bite the camera. Pics are crappy from having the cam too close but you'll get the point - get too close and he bangs and bites.
