I decided to get my tanks from another company. I'm getting my 3 tanks in this weekend. I will post pictures with the pricing then.

Look forward to seeing them. What sizes did you order?

I'm thinking that they get so many people calling they don't really care. They seem kinda like a redneck mom and pop company or something (I'm from Alabama, so I can't say much). You can't deny the prices though. You can get a much better deal with these guys. What worries me is that I'm being treated poorly now and I haven't even bought a tank. What is the service going to be like after they have my money?

lol Ive asked them why do you have so many negative feedback? NO response... so im gonna have to agree on this one.

from what I have read, many others have asked him why do so many have problems with their tanks, or problems with customer service etc and his usual answer is "we never have any complaints, never had a tank leak etc"

the denial has pissed off more than a few people in some of the negative gc threads I have read..

As a business owner, I have been following this thread with interest....

Here is a simple question that comes from Brain Tracy a well respected sales guru. I found it very helpful in my own business as it changed the way I look at my business and more importantly.... my customers.

Maybe it's logic will work it's way to Glass Cages...

Q: "What is the purpose of a business...?"

A: "To make and keep a customer."

Many people have answered that question many different ways... Normally they say the purpose is to make money...

True...

However, this can only be accomplished, (Long Term), by first making and keeping a customer.

It seems like they are making money now... but defects and customer complaints can only catch up to them... Sad.. I saw their tanks and they look nice....

I "would" have bought one...

mm

PS/ It hard to keep the customer you never get......

I have dealt with Glasscages for years, and have 7 tanks from them, ranging from 20 to 240 gals. I have never had a problem with their tanks or service. This makes me wonder if maybe its the attitude of the customer that leads to the problems. I don't know, I can only relate my own experiences.

notice anything............you hear good stuff about glasscages from the actual owners who post here, and lots of negatives from non customers...........the customers seem pretty happy.........good enough for me

actually, most of the negative reviews all over the web about glasscages are from glasscages tank owners and people that have tried to do business with them...and were treated rudely.

its true, there are certainly happy GC tank owners.

but it seems that by saving a bundle, you are taking a chance that you may be one of the unhappy ones. and if you are, it looks as though your own your own at that point..

is it worth the risk to save the cash?

each of us has to make that decision for ourselves.

ironically, this thread was started a potential customer that was turned into a non customer by their rudeness..

maybe if he bought one he would have been happy like all the other owners on THIS thread
