*sighhhhh....*
why do I do this?

The reason that temperatures in many places remain low or drop lower is because of the slight upward change in temperature of the global ice masses. This causes them to to melt, but the influx of cold, low-salinity water lowers the net temperature of oceans and changes current and wind patterns. One current being changed is the mid-atlantic current, responsible for the warm temperatures in florida as a result of oceanic convection patterns being changed, the MAC moves farther offshore and takes with it its warming effects. Therefore, moronic douches in the continental US can guffaw about how it don't look like no global warming to them, when in fact net temperatures are rising, while temperature PATTERNS are shifting. This is a far more important fact. Also, the direct action the present tense of global warming will lead to an ice age in the far-ish future, for those douches who have trouble with tenses and would like to feel vindicated. PM* for arguments, but if you really piss me off I will
A) bring up my relevant advanced degrees
B) call my climatologist friends
I sound like a real prick, so with any luck I'll get frozen/boiled...
*or you can post them on the public forum. your call.

One of the interesting stats in " an inconvenient truth" was over 900 peer reviewed articles written by scientists that agreed about climate change but none that supported the " there is no such thing" school.

If you are denying global warming and climate change then you are an intellectual ostrich, with your head buried in the sands of ignorance, and the only thing worse than ignorance imo is this kind of deliberate ignorance.

An ignorance that can easily be cured by another tax cut!.

They passed a minimum wage increase, didn't they? but only after a tax cut was factored in.;)

That's the point. You wouldn't have noticed that average global temperatures have increased by 1.2 to 1.4 degrees Fairenheit since 1900, but most of that increase has occurred since 1990. The EPA's website on "climate change" does, however, note that some of the warmest years in recorded history have occurred over the past 15 years:

http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/basicinfo.html

The EPA uses the term "climate change" as being a more accurate description of the phenomenon caused by increased greenhouse gas emissions than "global warming."

The world is an ever evolving planet.. no temperatures remain the same for ever... remember a thing called ice ages...basically i feel, lakes change origin... temperatures change.. climates change..thats the way of mother nature... do people really think that 100 million years ago or whatever the temps were the same as today?? i dont.. but who knows.

Does Global Warming exist? Probably to some degree.

But excuse me for being a little skeptical.
