Well you know how some studies are:screwy: Ya know rummynose tetras will actually do the same thing in your tank. If the water conditions are not up to par there will be no red nose.

Current price is between $5-8 U.S. and they come in two colors, pink and orange. Aside from the color though there are some defomities in some of the fish.

Why would the jellyfish DNA would do anything to a fish that ingested it anymore than the regular DNA from a normal danio or from a jellyfish? It would be broken down as food.

Like it or not there are more and more altered plants and animals available every day. Some have proven harmful (Corn and BT bacteria), some will likely prove benificial, and others like the danios and the Japanese blue roses will just be curiosities for those who want something different. Who knows, it may be possible to have a house cat with the coat of a tiger or leopard in the future?
 
What if you put them on craigslist with an adoption fee?. Technically you are NOT selling them because selling animals isn't allowed there. Adoption fees are allowed.

No, but you would be breeding them, and breeders also not allowed on craigslist. Not that anyone would probably do anything, but it really pisses me off when I see the same type of animal coming from the same exact location every month or so on craigslist.... Yeah, kinda coincidental that someone in my area always has "baby snakes up for adoption" on a pretty much constant supply.
 
I want a Glo cat... i woke my mom up to watch it and she said no... and that it would cost too much. Darn her
