I'm sorry rally, your jag inspired other mfkers and Myself, to start keeping jags. Your was a grade AAA fish, and a member of mfk himself. I hate to see him go, as does everyone else on mfk. Best of wishes to you, I would try and get him mountated, so he can be with you for a much longer time. just think you wont have to feed him 20$ a day now. Again sorry for your loss, and best of luck to you and your family.

Thanks bro, I really appreciate your words.

you definitly did the right thing.. this is better for him and for you..it is agony watching them wither away.. trying to be the fish they were before.. this is much better.. but it is so hard to say goodbye.
Thanks Liz, and you're correct. Every day when I come home from work, the first thing that I see is my 265 that he lived in. It's a room divider that is literally 5 feet in front of the door. It got to the point where I wouldn't even look at the tank because I didn't want to see him suffer. I do feel a bit better, but it's a sad/weird type of feeling.

He's gone.

It was the first time I've used clove oil, and I will say that it did seem as peaceful as it could be. He went in the bucket, and almost instantly after I put the clove oil in he was motionless.

I'll miss this fish, but I think I did the right thing.

You did do the right thing, and that fish won't be forgotten.

Sorry to hear about your this. Im new to the site so I didnt know the fish but it looked amazing. Where do you find fish like that in indy? anyhow sorry to hear it and great memories im sure...

omg! I loved that fish! he was one of my favorite fish I've ever seen! He lived a good life filled with love, and you did the most humane thing. Its still sad though. He's in the big lake nicuruaga in the sky now.
