I would do a water change every day and dump pond water in. I would also put the brightest light I could in the aquarium to try to stimulate green water in there. I am not sure how big the fry are now, but I like to do that for all small fry (go for the green water).

You could probably use just about any organic vegetable to stimulate the green water, I would be careful about stuff that was sprayed though. I can not remember my orginal post, but the intent was that you could set up a rubbermaid tote or bucket with some hay to get some insoforia going..

Oh it is definitely green. Lol they are doing wonderful.

Get some tank water in a jar or a spare tank, put some hay in it or other vegetable matter (I guess you can google, I always use rabbit hay).. Put the jar tank near a window for sun or put lights over it and then it will have a lot of microscopic organisms in there.

I do not have personal experience with blue gourami, but I have read that they can have have thousands of babies and it is hard to put enough food in there to feed them all.
The thing I read suggested syphoning off a smaller number.. like maybe 50 to another tank to attempt to read, because most will starve to death unless they are outside in a large pond or something with plenty of microscopic food.

Make lots of insuforia.. I would also suggest trying to turn the tank water green.
That is what I do for baby rainbows.. raise them in green water so they can graze on the microscopic organisms all day.

How long do you have to leave the tank green and how in the world am I going to get it clear again?

I leave my fry water green until the fry are eating crumbled powder food.
When you want it clear again, turn off the lights, do big water changes.
It is important to do big water changes, the algae will die off with no light and possibly cause nitrate spikes.
