Here is the other female. No male around to get her in the spawning mood, but her egg tube is showing and she is looking rather round despite me only feeding every couple days.
In addition to her egg tube you can see she is starting to get her smudged blue beard that some use to determine gender. It’s not the most accurate way, but in some strains it is pretty definitive.
The poor girl is also a bit chewed up. I tried to catch her yesterday, but I can’t without taking out all the wood in the tank. And that’s such a pain -_-
Interesting developments.....Haha. Perhaps if we were closer I’d let her visit for a couple months. Lol Don’t think I could give her up
Since I haven’t bred two silvers before I’m not sure if golds would pop up. That is something I hadn’t thought about. Now I’m horribly curious......
I don’t suppose anyone reading this has bred silvers, have they?
Now I’m really wishing I would have scooped up the male. Grrr....
Maybe I’ll get lucky and find a nice silver male again.

Just came back from the place I sold those fry to.....
2 of my fry turned out to be white females.......smh
I'm half tempted to buy them back

That’s a bummer that the sold ones turned out silver so far.
I'll try to get some pics of the remainders and post them here in a bit.
I thought about getting those two back, but I'm sure the odds of me getting another white female are pretty good. I've got 50-70 still very small 1"
But that one in the pic looks good, shes got a killer figure
