very nice!!

but its not the lizard king. lol. ill be in possecion of that before long ;)

Pfft, HOW long?

He's a gorgeous lizard, and I know how you feel watching him! My rhino iggy gives me the same feeling, and I've only had him for 3 1/2 days!

beautiful lizard, if you don't mind me asking how do you keep the humidity so high? i have been having trouble keeping the humidity in my tortoises tank above 70%

u can send the 20 my way. as long as i can find the specimen i want/need, ill have it by the end of the year

Continuously high humidity is sustainable by consequent spraying of demineralized water.
And in combination with moist bark, chips or mulch its more easy to maintain.
I use digital hygrometers for monitoring.

But my LRS says to high himidity causes scale problems.
My Teju and Rainbowboa both need 80% average for all I reckon.
A Burmese, Solomonboa and a Redtailboa should like a bit less.
But my Burmese lives in a long tank, so its possible to sustain a dry, a hot and wet, and a cool moist spot plus a pool.
So he has 60% as well as 90% spots.
Hes only to be found in hot and wet spots.
So..

Technically, it shouldn't. I suppose the only difference is the level of ventilation, looking through a layman's point of view. If you keep the humidity while maximizing ventilation, you should have a happy lizard which still doesn't want to be handled :P.

Im not entirely getting what you're trying to say, Snakefin.
What's a layman's piont of view?

It means I may have left out some factors, because I'm a pure amateur.

Ah, its a saying, of course!
Im a st*p*d dutchman. :nilly:

I keep feeding my teju by hand, guess thats not the smartest thing to do.
:D
