Actually I will be. I took measurements of him so this way I can have a replica made of him. I always kept his shedded teeth so I can give them a few to use for the mount. But most definitely will be made into one to honor him.

...I'll continue to post updates of mine for you to follow along. Hoping someday he is as impressive as yours, he's only 20" now.
Believe me I wish it wasn't the case sadly it is, and Im heartbroken over it. Will look forward to seeing the updates on ur guy. With dedication and resilience, it will have a great chance of being even better! Yeah tbh I really wasn't a fan of the fish for a long time. He was too skittish and not really personable. That I attributed to being in too small of a tank.

Yeah I was the same in a sense til I learned more about them and the rarity of having a big one in captivity. That sent me on my journey and here we are today. I most definitely will it'll be my next major post on here about him.

I've never suggested this in the past but someone should organize a moment of silence for this iconic fish..... Not many fish out there that serve as mascots for this site, but this fish definitely fits.... A loss we all should recognize.
My heart goes out to you man - loosing special fish is something I think only your fellow die hards can understand..... "Normal" people are clueless what it takes to raise such an iconic fish - the freshwater great white - and ANYONE that can raise one to this size deserves special recognition for the investment of time, money, knowledge, patience, and perseverance, and most of all enough dedication to respecting the fish enough to insure the tank revolved around him - year after year.
I think I speak for us all when I say you did an outstanding job raising this LEGEND.
