I've been part of MFK for a couple of weeks and I have met some good people as well as ignorant ones.I some of us at times forget what it was like being new and putting yourself in somebody else's shoes and I didn't join to be in insulted,I did in the hopes learning how to make my fish happy, healthy and maybe makes friends along the way.So I wish you all the best of luck.

Who cares what some people say. Its the internet you don't have to see them know them ever meet them. You can report postings and have them removed from your thread or just ignore them.

+1 theres always gonna be some bad apples anywhere you go. just ignore them, access to the wealth of information on this site is worth it.

I'm sorry to hear this, but if you couldn't handle (or figure out a way to do it) those bad apples from this tree it would be a more daunting task to deal with life out there. Just my two cents...

Don't quit MFK just yet...take a short break and come back to it.

sry to hear u wer insulted,no need for ppl to do that in here [thats wot u tube is for ] thankfully for me no one has insulted me[yet ] and iv learnt a few bits of handy stuff to know about keeping fish and i like to think iv contributed a small bit too

Yea there is definitely some arrogant elitists on here, there is also a lot of very good and knowledgeable people. Don't pay any attention to those who are better than everyone else. Hope ya stick it out a bit. Good luck

Hello; I felt that a member was insulting and abusive to me recently. I eventually found the "contact us" button and reported it. The moderators sent me an e-mail saying they will look into it. I do not yet know what they did or will do. There may be a better place on the forum to do this, but I did not know of it. It is a shame.

I failed to find the insulting post but anyway...some people here are kind of funny with their sensitivities....can I keep an arowanna/RTC/pacu/oscar in x amount of space tends to draw the trolls in.

This is a good site but it is also to have a little thicker skin. stick and stones you know...
