Yea Ive heard tons of bad stories about doing this, but they seem fine so far. Im really nervous lol.
i know ..it is nerve wracking.. even under any conditions.. adding fish and changing them around is not my favorite subject.. but i know alot of times the unusual does work out.. And you know i am sending my best wishes..

Seems like wild aro's just dont get DE.
I was looking at an angling website, and even HUUUUUUGE aro's had perfect eyes with no DE.

This may be the entire answer in a nut shell..

<sigh> ... well, i guess i knew that was an eventuallity.

One out of three silvers got a confirmed DE (not yet severe but starting to get quite pronounced). The other two are still OK especially the one that was used to be housed with paimas. It is smaller/leaner and has perfect eyes.

Lol, may be the one with DE is admiring the little ray at the bottom too much???

No DE on jar and green (though the green one is swiming funnily at an angle). Jar is definitely bullied by one or more of the silvers. It stays at the bottom and in the middle - very rarely comes up to the top where the silvers hang-out except to make a run for food on top. Since the pecking order is estalished no one is hurt - fins and scales are still intact, but the jar is really pushed around - well, i guess it is better than a murderous jar :naughty:

PS: don't say jar don't get DE people - i have a confirmed sighting of a jar with a DE ... it is housed in a rather confined space (awaiting transfer)
