i dont think its racist because the track in london is that color and yes blacks run that track. i would consider the google page distasteful and stereotypical. why does the runner who happens to be black have to have an afro and big nose?

it's amusing to me that if a bunch of white people say something is not racist....then then offended must all be wrong. in the process they go out of their way to put down the offended, no matter how subtle or gentle they try to be about it. just an observation. you can't put yourself in other's shoes, so stop trying

Im willing to bet that every one of us has been treated differently by another race simply because of our color. On a personal level, we have all been. Not dismissing anything here, but I grew up in an area where very few people of my race lived. I am not black, and I have personally had my life affected negatively by racists that were not white.

I thought it was more obvious. I just think giving people a title of racist is not ever going to help, I think if we replace racism with ignorant then maybe it will stop. Wishful thinking? Probably but then again its 2012

Racist or ignorant, same difference. Maybe it will stop? I doubt it. Racism will never go away. It will always exist. Always has and always will. You can't change a person's fundamental views and beliefs no matter how hard you try. As long as people have the free will to think for themselves, it will always be a problem. Just like the whole g-a-y marriage thing that's been a hot topic lately. You can fight, protest and argue for g-a-y rights all you want. But there will always be people that have a genuine hate and disgust towards g-a-ys (same can be said towards races). You can implement all the laws and rules you want, but you will never change a person's beliefs.

Do you have to hate something to be racist? or anti g a y? I feel its wrong and is not natural but I dont hate g a y s. I also find common habits of certain types of people (race) to be annoying. Does that make me a racist?

If you are saying that certain habits are only shown by certain races then yes, that's racist. People of any background are capable of acting different ways, which are influenced by nurture and environment not nature. Just like people of any race can not exibit actions that are associated with their stereotypes.
