Just picked up a Yurelli from the local Fedex. Water was 57 degrees. Acclimating now - how sensitive are these guys to the temp coming up? Tank temp is high 70s. Anyone have any advice as to how long to drip/bring temp up to tank temp?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

all of mine are reasonably hardy when it came to temperature change

How was the fish? How is the fish? HLG or other?

I'd expect it to be fairly hardy to the low temp, but I'd be afraid to bring it up TOO quickly.

Agreeing with chic. Id keep it in a container with its current water. Add a small cup of warm water. And put a heater in the container. And every so often maybe add another cup of warm water to keep it going at a steady pace.

I agree with all of the above. Even though I don't think you have to worry about temp shock since it's going from a low temp to a higher temp, I'd still slowly raise the temp of the bag so that its at least in the mid 60's then plop it in. That's how I've always done it in the past with no problems

Slowly brought the temp up by dripping for 2 hours......

I'm already really excited.... This is my birthday present from my girlfriend. She actually conspired with Wes behind my back to make it happen.

IF this was to turn out to be Rutilus it would just make the whole ordeal all the better as the only reason I don't have a Goonch yet was cause I had been trying to hold out for a Rutilus........

I agree with Liam that this is a sp. indochina. It's too heavily freckled to be rutilus and, it may just be from stress, but it's a lot darker than the ruti's I've kept. How big is it?
Here's what mine looked like for reference. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1420066410.116922.jpg
